JULIE R. GLADE: I spent many years as a nurse in family therapy, group dynamics, and individual therapy. And I have a lot of sensitivity and understanding of how family dynamics work. When families are in conflict, there are many strategies that an attorney can employ to get to a very positive and strong resolution. Clients with children are particularly concerned because children need to be protected from the process. I fully embrace that concept. I work very, very hard to ensure that my clients' children are protected to the extent possible from the disputes between the adults and the stress of the conflict. Every person that comes into my office can expect to have a strategy that is finely tuned to his or her specific needs. I look at each and every case and each and every client and evaluate the need, the client's ability to afford specific strategies, to determine the most effective and efficient way to get to the finish line.
