Before I opened my law practice, I worked as a registered nurse in a variety of capacities: a hospital staff nurse on a medical unit, a nurse-therapist and substance abuse counselor, and as the Director of Addiction Services for Southlake Center for Mental Health (now Regional Mental Health Center), located in Merrillville, Indiana.
